The Gite

The gite features oak beams and stone walls throughout. The well-equipped kitchen benefits from cooker, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, toaster etc, and has a dining area seating six. To make your stay more enjoyable we also provide a welcome pack.

The kitchen leads on to a split level lounge, the upper level has a sofa which is also a comfortable bed.  A Satellite TV, Playstation 2, Radio, CD, DVD and Video player along with a selection of books, games, Video tapes and DVD’s are also provided.
Wi-fi connection available.
The lower level is furnished with two soft arm chairs and two settees, arranged around a wood burner, perfect for relaxing evenings in front of the fire, with a good book and a glass of wine.

A wooden staircase leads up to two bright, beautiful bedrooms. To the left is a twin-bedded room and to the right is a double bedroom. Stone feature walls, wooden floors and oak beams add to the overall character of the rooms.
La Chesnaie provides all linen so the beds are crisp and clean, ready for you to just tumble into.

Cot, stair gate and high chair are provided on request, free of charge.
Both bedooms have heating.
The bathroom comprises toilet, sink, bath with shower attachment and a heated towel rail.
Towels are provided.

Guests have the use of family bicycles, one with a baby/child seat. The country lanes around the gite are very quiet, making it peaceful for walking or cycling. There are also miles of cycle paths in and around Mayenne.For the children there is an indoor games barn with table tennis, pool table, table football, air hockey, darts and a variety of other games.

In the enclosed private gardens of the gite there is a wooden decked area with table and chairs, ideal for sunny morning breakfast or lazy afternoon BBQs. From the garden there are impressive views of the countryside all adding to your experience of the Mayenne area of France.

There is ample parking.

No smoking in gite or play barn.
